Page Two Appendix B Eliminates the polygraph examination due to the Access Autheikation requirements which have surpassed any benefit received from the polygraph examination. Therefore, the polygraph is considered to be a duplication of effort and no longer provides benefit.
Pursuant to 10CFR 50.54(p), the signed original and three copies of the Security Plan revisions are being provided to your office. A copy of this letter and two copies of the Secunty Plan revisions are being sent to Region Ill.
We have concluded that these changes to not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan. These enclosures contain Safeguards Information which must be protected from public disclosure pursuant to 10CFR 73.21.
