Enclosed are the original and three (3) copies of Revision 38 of the Byron Nuclear Power Station Security Plan. During the initial submittal of Revision 38, Section 8.1.1.2 was inadvertently omitted due to a computer software upgrade, causing the format of the page to change. Page 8-1 has been corrected to include Section 8.1.1.2 es part of Revision 38 September 1992.
Pursuant to 10CFR 50.4, the signed original and three copies of the security plan revisions are being provided to your office. A copy of this letter and two copies of the security plan revisions are being sent to Regior. Ill.
We have concluded that these changes do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan. These enclosures contain Safeguards Information which must be protected from public disclosure pursuant to 10CFR 73.21.
