Bvron Nuclear Power Stations Units 1 and 2 Bvron Station Security Plan NRC Docket Nos. 50-454 & 50-455 TAC Nos. 65282/65283 Enclosed are the original and three (3) copies of Revision 43 of the Byron Nuclear Power Station Security Plan. This submittal contains the following changes:
Chapter 1, 8 & 13 -
Defines the Perimeter intrusion Detection System (PIDS)
Chapter 6 -
Figure 6-1 identifies the structural changes to the Protected Area boundary located within the security gatehouse Pursuant to 10CFR 50.54(p), the signed original and three copies of the Security Plan revisions are being provided to your office. A copy of this letter and two copies of the Security Plan revisions are being sent to Region 111.
We have concluded that these changes to not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan. These enclosures contain Safeguards information which must be protected from public disclosure pursuant to 10CFR 73.21.
