7590-01 TOLEDO EDISON COMPANY AND THE CLEVELAND ELECTRIC ILLUMINATING COMPANY DOCKET NO. 50-346 NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has granted the withdrawal of an application dated November 5,1984, filed by Toledo Edison Company (the licensee). The application requested amendment to Facility Operating License No. NPF-3 for operation of the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit No.1, located in Ottawa County, Ohio. The proposed amendment would have deleted the low pressure switch interlocks in the main steam-lines to.the Auxiliary Feedwater Pump inlets. The Commission issued a Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment in the FEDERAL REGISTER on March 27, 1985 (50 FR 12165). By letter dated October 25, 1985, the licensee withdrew the application for the proposed amendment. The Commission has considered the licensee's October 25, 1985, letter and has determined that permission to uithdraw the November 5,1984, application for amendment should be granted.
