Amendment No.151 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-3, issued to the Toledo Edison Company and the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company (the licensee), which revised the license for operation of the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit No.1 (the facility) located in Ottawa County, Ohio. The amendment was effective as of the date of its issuance.

The amendments extended the expiration date of Facility Operating License No. NPF-3 for Davis-Besse from its present date of March 24, 2011, to April 22, 2017. The latter date is 40 years from the issuance of the operating license whereas the earlier date is 40 years af ter the issuance oftheconstructionpermit(CP).

The application for the amendnients complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations. The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set' forth in the license amendments.

Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendments and Opportunity for Hearing in connection with this action was published in the FEDERAL REGISTER 00
