CRDER GRANTING PEPJCSSION TO INTERVENE On December 11, 1970, Mary Eays Veik filed a petition seeking pemission to intervene and to become a party to the proceeding.
On December lb,1$r70, Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc.
( Applicant) filed an answer alleging no r;bjection to the granting of the petition, but it denied certain allegations in the petition and moved to strike the third con %ntion in paragraph IV thereef.
At the hearing convened on Dece=ber 17, 1970, the St:s:'f asserted no c
objection to the petition but denied certain allegations thereof.
The Intervenors then.cf record in the proceeding likewise made no objection to the petition.
On Deceiter 15, 1970, The Eudsen River Fishermen's Association
( Associatien) filed a petition to-intervene and to beccte a party to the paceeeding.
On December 21, 1970, Applicant filed an answer

of certain contentions set forth.
Neither tl.e Staff nor the other Intervenor parties made any objection to the granting of said petition.
Upon a consideration of the foregoing petitions, together with the ansvers and comments submitted in connection therewith; IT IS ORDERED, pursuant to the Ato:ic Energy Act, as amended, and the Rules of Practice of the Commission, that the petitions are granted and Mary Hays Weik and The Hudson River Fisherren's Association are parties to this proceeding.
