During recent inspection of the core shroud support ring
- a defect was found.
The defect was removed and examined metallurgically.
The initial results of this examination indicate evidence of stress corrosion.
Jersey Central and General Electria: nre reviewing the significance of this finding and its possible impli-cations.
A schedeled briefing on the vessel problems (to have been held on May 24th) has been postponed for at least a month; a scheduled ACRS review of these i.
