Dear Mr. Richard DiYoung:
I am currently involved in the DiaMo Cany.on lieview
. effort now in progress.. I must say that this $s ths, worst nuclear power plant that I have ever worked es.
and it is'not SAFE.
I was hoping with the' introduction of Bechtel that a complete re-analysis of Enit I sstuls s
be done.
Alas this is not to be. The PGt@ ssnagvrartf
~ -
l engineers only correct the mistakes that are found
' accidentially or are forced down their throats. If the error is an generic one, they will not revive wwwrytting but just what caused the error and they will only correct
~~
that one mistake.
The latent review is for b@ taly
~
but the real danger.is that:
- 1) The thermal / dea'dveight analysis does not match u e.
v -
the seimic or currest field support configuration.
Systems are failing when corrected.
- 2) The so-called ' As-Built" pipe support dnntings are not as-built but instead are the accmnastion of 'all the changes to the support dravig mur %s I
3 past 13 years.
The support be.vs not, bass sal %xi
- down in the field to show thed3stest scr Ipetiton or orientation to the pipe. Also.izierfar.emer arith structure are not show on the drawings.
I only ask that you have R. L. Cloud & Associates review the thermaI/ Deadweight analysis as wa11.1:t tha-Hosgri they are now doing.
This will tuntiTm 's'nat 'l ' nave said.
If action is not taken,I may be.' force to caek a public hearing on this. 'I am pro-nuclear but invalid analysis andincompetence must not be igored. This palnt in ny opinion is bad from the analysis to the supports.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely A Contered h 12mer 3
