- 3. Exit Meeting On August 23, 1990 the NRC met with the plant manager of Point Beach Nuclear Plant and training supervisor to discuss one generic issue. The Point Beach Job Performance Measures (JPM) needed additional revisions to address the Examiner Standards in regards to assigning the critical steps in the JPM.
The JPM questions exhibited some of the following deficiencies; ambiguous wording; i.e., answers to the JPM question did not match the intent of the ouestion, open ended questions that did not have one specific answer and supcflums wording, i.e., unnecessary information which could obfuscate the operator. The facility corrected all the identified deficiencies and they should conduct a thorough review of the JPM question bank to identify all additional questions which contain the identified deficiencies, i
