This refers to a special security inspection conducted by LeRoy R.
Norderhaug and M. D. Schuster of this office on April 26 and 27,1976,
of activities authorized by NRC License No. R-73 and to the discussion
of our findings held by the inspectors with W. S. Chalk, W. P. Miller
and A. W. Wakefield on April 27, 1976.
As described in the enclosed inspection report, the inspection was an
examination of the activities related to physical protection against
industrial sabotage in accordance with applicable requirements of Title
10, Code of Federal Regulations and your Security Plan.
Within these
areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinatiens of procedures
and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by
the inspector.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified within the scope of
this inspection.
We note with interest that a revised Security Plan is being prepared
.
and look forward to receiving a copy when it is submitted to the NRC
Office of Nuclear Reactors.
We understand it will be submitted by the
end of May.
In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice,"
Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, documentation of
findings of your control and accounting procedures for safeguarding
special nuclear materials and your facility security procedures are
exempt from disclosure; therefore, the inspection report will not be
placed in the Public Document Room and will receive limited distribution.
