Update Report - Results of Seismic Monitoring System Functional Test Determined Unacceptable AECM-83/0368 This is an update to a previous report submitted on April 29, 1983. The event for which the report was submitted occurred on March 21, 1983, when during performance of a Seismic Monitoring System Functional Test (06-0P-C85-M-0001) operation of the chart recorders and Spectrum Analyzers was determined to be unacceptable. The system was declared inoperable and a Limiting Condition for Operation (LCO) was entered in accordance with Technical Specification 3.3.7.2. This was submitted as a Special Report pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.2 as the 30 day LCO time limit was exceeded.

Maintenance Work Authorizations (MW0s) were issued for investigation and correction. The cause of the malfunction was determined to be a faulty circuit card. The card was replaced and the surveillance was perforted satisfactorily. The system was restored on May 19, 1983. This is a final report.
