Dear Mr. Denton:

Attached is a proposed change to the McGuire Nuclear Station, Unit 1, Techni-cal Specifications. This change corrects the setpoint associated with the reactor trip initiated by a turbine trip.

This change has been reviewed and it has been determined that there are no adverse safety or environmental impacts associated with the proposed change.

The proposed change is considered to be a Class III amendment pursuant to

-10 CFR 170.22. Therefore, enclosed is a check in the amount of $4000.
