HPF-9 The U.S. Huclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has issued Anendment No. 7 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-9, issued to Duke Power Coapany (licensee) for the McGuire Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (the facility) locited in

!tecklenburg County, North Carolina. This arendnent revises setpoints to selected Engineered Safety Features Actuation Systen instrunentation, makes corrections to the measurement range of the Unit Vent Noble Gas Effluent lionitor, revises sur-veillance requirenents for certain fire detection instrumentation and hydrogen nonitors, revises listings of hydraulic and nechanical snubbers, revises response tire and test current value fcr a circuit breaker, revises surveillance require-cents for conitoring Chenical Treatnent Pond radionuclide inventory, and clarifies Special Test Progran exceptions. The amendeent is effective as of its date of issuance.

The application for the amendment complies with the standards and require-nents of the Atonic Energy Act of 1954, as anended (the Act), and the Comission's regulations. The Comission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act e-
