FOS /CFSF RESPONSE TO AFFLICANT Motion For Modification of " Post Conference Order No. 2" For reasons set out in this response, Intervenor FOB /CFSF opposes the Applicant's. motion to modify the Board's Fost Confer-ence Order No. 2."

We apologize if we give the impression that we are burden-ing the proceeding, but the truth of the matter is that we aren' t able to draw on the same resources tha t the Applicant has. The Applicant has always been aware of the burden that we v:ork under, yet in all instances when the Applicant attempts to speed things up they neglect to notify us until last. (We were not afforded the privilege of having our copy of the motion hand-delivered like the other parties, although two of The co-sponsors of the project have A REVERENCE FoR ALL LIFE -

We would be under a tremendous burden if we had to file our statement of issues by February 26. We were unable to originally file a statement because of the unavailability of transcripts from the June, '78 session. We only recently received those transcripts and we are still reviewing them. It is not possible to complete the review and have our statement done by February 26. Any s tate-ment demanded prior to an adequate review time is prejudicial to us.

We are mindful of the Applicant's desire to speed these hearings alongs however, they have not shown how they would be prejudiced by filings of statements on or before March 9,1979, as set out in the Board's Order.

For the auove stated reasons, Intervenor FOB /CFSF requests that the Applicant's motion be denied.
