Project, Units 1 & 2) ) Dated: May 27, 1982 APPLICANT'S MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME At the special prehearing conference held on May 5, 1982, the Licensing Board granted intervenors until May 26, 1982, to submit a list of contentions and their specific bases as required by 10 CFR S 2.714(b). (Tr. 73). In addition, the Board granted the Applicant and the Staff until June 2, 1982, to respond to these contentions. (Tr. 74).

On May 27, 1982, Applicant's co-counsel in Seattle received a lengthy document containing amended contentions of the Coalition for Safe Power.l! As of the time of service of this motion, Applicant's co-counsel in Washington, D.C.,

has not yet received service of its copy of the amended conten-tions of the Coalition. In light of the apparent length of the Coalition's amended contentions, and the fact that co-counsel in Washington has not yet received service of the amended 1/ Applicant previously received amended contentions from-the NWF/OEC.
