MOTION OF NATIONAL WILDLIFE FEDERATION AND OREGON ENVIRONMENTAL COUNCIL FOR EXTENSION OF TIME WITHIN WHICH TO RESPOND TO APPLICANTS' INTERROGATORIES On September 1, 1982, Applicants served their first set of interrogatories on intervenors National Wildlife Federation and Oregon Environmental Council (NWF/OEC).
Pursuant to the Commission's rules, NWF/OEC have until September 20, 1982, to respond to those interrogatories.
For reasons set out below, NWF/OEC, with the agreement of applicants' counsel, hereby move for an extension of time until October 4, 1982, within which to respond.
Terence Thatcher, counsel for NWF/OEC was out of his office and unreachable by telephone from September 2 u n t i'l. S e p t e m b e r 1 5,
the time during which the interrogatories arrived in the mail.
Mr. Thatcher is solely responsible for this proceeding.
In his absence, no other person could respond to the interrogatories.
Upon his return, Mr. Thatcher first learned of applicants' interrogatories.
He immediately telephoned Mr. F. Theodore Thomsen, applicants' counsel, and requested his agreement to an extension of time until October 4, 1982 to answer the interrogatories.

two week extension will give NWF/OEC's counsel the time normally permitted for discovery responses.

Mr. Thomsen readily and graciously agreed to the request.
