On behalf of the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), I am responding to your October 5, 2017, letter to Representative Darrell Issa in which you included questions regarding the proposed waste storage canisters at San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station. Answers to your questions are enclosed.
