REPORTABLE OCCURRENCE 335-80-39 LICENSEE EVENT REPORT PAGE 2 SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION During the last'efueling, power supplies to the CEDM's were replaced with a new modified unit. To date these new power supplies have experienced a high failure rate. The old version of the power supplies have since been modified by the vendor. In an effort to reduce the number of power supply failures and resulting dropped rods the newer power supplies have been replaced with the older modified units. A program is also in progress to install redundant power supplies to minimize rod drops.
