International Team Visiting Clinton Station

International Team Visiting Clinton Station The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has an Operational Safety Review Team (OSART) that was formed to assist Member States in enhancing the operational safety of individual nuclear power plants The OSART team will visit Clinton Aug. 11-28 Team promotes the continuous development of operational safety within all Member States by the dissemination of information on good practices and improves operational safety at an individual plant plant, objectively assesses safety performance Provides useful information on opportunities for safety improvement Exchanges information and experience:

o Provides Member States with good practices o Provides plant with informal advice

95001 Inspection Complete

95001 Inspection Due to a recent higher than usual rate of unplanned plant shutdowns, the NRC performed a 95001 inspection that concluded in July Inspectors deemed our response to the plant shutdowns was satisfactory CPS MManagementt learned l d we h had d some llongstanding t di equipment issues that were unresolved

  • We have performed a review to identify any similar issues We have corrected a majority of the issues - those requiring a plant shutdown for repair will be completed in the spring outage in 2015
