NRC Inspection Findings Clinton

  • Green - Exelon failed to adequately design the Auxiliary Building floor drain system such that a g pipe failure of a single p p could drain the suppression pp pool below the required level
  • Green - Exelon failed to obtain the required license amendment from the NRC prior to defining an Operation with the Potential to Drain the Reactor Vessel (OPDRV) as used in the Technical Specifications 6

  • NRC plans baseline inspections at Clinton for 2011
  • A follow up inspection (IP 92723) has been performed in response to the 4 SLIV traditional enforcement violations that were identified between 3Q09 and 2Q10 10
