FORTHCOMING CLOSED MEETING WITH CALVERT CLIFFS NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, LLC AND AREVA TO DISCUSS TRANSITION TO AREVA FUEL DATE & TIME: Monday, June 6, 2011 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission One White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike, Room 010-86 Rockville, Maryland PURPOSE: As part of the NRC staff's approval for Calvert Cliffs to transition to AREVA fuel (ML110390224), license conditions were imposed that restrict plant operation to a single cycle using AREVA fuel.

The licensee and NRC staff will discuss the emergency core cooling system analysis necessary to remove this restriction and permit plant operation with once and twice burnt AREVA fuel. The meeting is closed since the information to be discussed has been previously determined to contain proprietary commercial information and be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 as stated in NRC letters dated July 12, 2010 (ML101760194), and February 17, 2011 (ML103010383).

TRANSITION TO AREVA FUEL U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION HEADQUARTERS - ROCKVILLE, MD

• Introductions and opening remarks

• As part of the NRC staff's approval for Calvert Cliffs to transition to AREVA fuel, license conditions were imposed that restrict plant operation to a single cycle using AREVA fuel.

The licensee, AREVA, and the NRC staff will discuss the emergency core cooling system analysis that will be necessary in order to remove this restriction and permit plant operation with once and twice burnt AREVA fuel. Specific analysis, computer codes, and modeling assumptions will be addressed.
