Dear Mohamad,

Mary and Vince, We appreciate the opportunity to meet with you and other UMD staff on February 18, 2011, to discuss your responses to selected TS RAIs. Based on our discussions, attached please find a summary of the meeting. In our summary we have provided publicly available references as examples that you may want to consider.

Based on the complexity of your responses discussed in the meeting, the NRC expects to receive all your responses to the DPC under oath of affirmation no later than March 18, 2011.

The NRC has also included an additional two weeks since the date of our meeting on February 18, 2011. By the same date we expect to receive your final proposed TS document which incorporates these proposed actions including all other proposed actions from previous responses to all TS RAIs. If you are unable to meet the above due date, please inform us at the earliest opportunity so we may hold a teleconference to discuss an alternate due date.

As part of our discussions, the NRC is open to any dialogue necessary to support your timely responses. Please feel free to contact the NRC should you have any questions in the development of your responses Also, attached you will find a copy of your license renewal schedule detailing timeframes and tasks to be completed as well as an expected completion date. Once we receive your responses to the above by March 18, 2011, and if your final proposed TS accurately reflects your responses to all the TS RAIs, with no further RAIs, the NRC expects to issue your renewed license sometime in July 2011. However, should the NRC need clarification to your responses to the attached RAIs or should the final proposed TS not be consistent to your responses to all TS RAIs, there will be significant delays in issuing your license by July 2011.

Sincerely, Spyros
