Re: GElS Public Mtg Ms. Chang, Yes, there is a public meeting scheduled for January 31, 2007, at the Latchis Theatre. The meeting notice will not be posted to the NRC website for several more days; however, a notice was published in the Federal Register on' December 21, 2006, announcing the availability of the draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for Vermont Yankee License Renewal for comment (71 FR 76706).
That notice also includes all the information about the meeting. There will be two sessions starting at 1:30 and 7:00 pm; each session will be preceded by a one-hour open house. In each session, the NRC staff and its contractor will present the results of the draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement and then we will open up the microphone for comments. I will go ahead and sign you up now to speak at both sessions; if that is not your intent, let me know.
Mr. Johnny Eads is no longer the lead project manager for the review of the Vermont Yankee license renewal application; Mr. Jonathan Rowley is now the lead project manager for the review of the Vermont Yankee license renewal application.
If you would like to get a bound copy of the draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement, give me your regular mail address.

- Richard, All the news reports say there is a public mtg at the Latchis on Jan 31, 2007, but there is no meeting posted in the NRC public meeting schedule web page.
Would you please provide me with the details about this meeting?? Time, process, signup for speaking opportunities?
And is Mr Eads no longer the lead on the VY relicense application??
