Endangered Species Protection Program Databases List of Species Pesticide Use Limitations (by County)
Court Ordered Limitations ESPP Database For Kids:
Coloring Book Poster Endangered Species Protection Program Databases The databases available here are the endangered species by county database (ES_COUNT.DBF) and the species information database (SPECIES.DBF). They are contained in a self-extracting compressed file named "county99.exe." Once you have downloaded the file to a directory on your computer, you can extract all the files in the archive by simply typing the name of the file at the DOS prompt.
The databases here have been updated as of December 31, 1999. The Agency's Endangered Species Protection Program will release newer, updated files periodically. Click here to download county99.exe.

Field Description STATE 2-letter state abbreviation NSTATE Full state name COUNTY County name FIPS2 FIPS code for the county and state (5-digit)
KNOWN Whether the species is known to occur in the county INVNAME Common name - inverse listing XGROUP Clarification of the KNOWN field. F in KNOWN field means that existence of the species is possible.
ACTION Type of listing action (Listing, Proposed, Delisting)
DATE Date this file was released GROUP Taxonomic group Field Description INVNAME Common name - inverse listing SCINAME Scientific name ACTION Type of listing action (Listing, Proposed, Delisting)
