Hi, I thought it might be helpful to have a tentative agenda for our upcoming meeting on 8/10. Here is my draft agenda - please let me know if you have any suggestions or additions.

NRC/Argonne - overview of the EIS process & the scope of the relicensing EIS: Explanation of the Sustainable Fisheries/NOAA requirements ANR - Status of the NPDES permit process and litigation Essential Fish Habitat Discussion Generic EIS - category 1 v. category 2 EIS issues Issues 18,19, 20, 23, 24, and 28 through 30 (Thermal plume barrier to migrating fish, Premature emergence of aquatic insects, Losses among organisms exposed to sublethal stresses, Stimulation of nuisance organisms, Entrainment, Impingement, and Heat shock)
Issues 43 and 46 (Bird collisions).
Issue 45 (Power line right of way management).
Issue 75 (Design-basis accidents).

Design Basis Concerns I expect Vt Agency personnel may have some general questions about the role of VANR in this process. In addition, there are some issues which appear to be identical but are identified as both Category 1 and 2.
What are the differences between these issues?
