CD of VY ecology studies from 1980's
- Bill, Yesterday, I received a CD containing ecology studies for the years 1980. 1982, 1984, 1986, and 1988 for Vermont Yankee from Lynn DeWald. She indicated that she had sent the same CD to you at Argonne National Laboratory. She included a hand-written note with the CD that said:
"10/13/06 Rich - I noticed that during the 1980's VY was conducting some studies that evaluated open cycle operations (discharges), in preparation for implementing the current mode of operation (using the 3 modes - open, closed, and hybrid). So, keep in mind when reveiwing these temperature data that you need to read the report to determine whether we were in open or some other operating mode.
