PRESENTATION ON EXTENDED POWER UPRATE AT WATERFORD 3 (TAC NO. MC1355)

Entergy Operations, Inc. was at the NRC offices in Rockville, Maryland on February 5, 2004, to make a presentation on the extended power uprate amendment request dated November 13, 2003, and to provide clarifications as needed and answer any questions that arose during the initial review of the submittal. An attendance list is provided in the enclosure.

The licensee made the presentation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. The slides used during the meeting are available in ADAMS under accession number ML040560396. In the afternoon session, questions were raised by the NRC staff reviewers from the Reactor Systems Branch, the Plant Systems Branch, the Materials and Chemical Engineering Branch, and the Mechanical and Civil Engineering Branch. There was no public meeting feedback.

Pursuant to "Commission Policy Statement on Staff Meetings Open to the Public," 59 Federal Register 48340, dated September 20, 1994, the meeting notice was issued on January 14, 2004 (ML040140515).
