Barnes (PSEG Nuclear LLC) to USNRC, June 22, 2007 In Reference 1, PSEG Nuclear LLC (PSEG) requested an amendment to Facility Operating License NPF-57 and the Technical Specifications (TS) for the Hope Creek Generating Station (HCGS) to increase the maximum authorized power level to 3840 megawatts thermal (MWt).

In Reference 2, the NRC requested additional information concerning PSEG's request.

PSEG provided responses in Reference 3 to the balance of plant and health physics branch questions. As noted in Reference 2 PSEG agreed to provide responses to the remaining mechanical branch questions by July 23, 2007.

In a public meeting with the NRC staff on June 28, 2007, PSEG discussed the ongoing analysis to address the issues associated with steam dryer integrity and to respond to the remaining RAIs. Based on the scope of work to be performed, PSEG proposes to revise the scheduled response date to August 3, 2007.
