2) PSEG letter LR-N06-0418, Supplement to License Amendment Request for Extended Power Uprate, October 20, 2006 In Reference 1, PSEG Nuclear LLC (PSEG) requested an amendment to Facility

'Operating License NPF-57 and the Technical Specifications (TS) for the Hope Creek Generating Station (HCGS) to increase the maximum authorized power level to 3840 megawatts thermal (MWt). Reference 2 provided additional information to support PSEG's request.

In Reference 1, PSEG submitted Continuum Dynamics, Incorporated (CDI) Report No.05-28P, Rev. 1, "Bounding Methodology to Predict Full Scale Steam Dryer Loads from In-Plant Measurements," and CDI Report No. 06-16, Rev. 1, "Estimating High Frequency Flow Induced Vibration in the Main Steam Lines at Hope Creek Unit 1: A Subscale Four Line Investigation of Standpipe Behavior." In Reference 2, PSEG submitted CDI Technical Memo 06-23P, "Comparison of the Hope Creek and Quad Cities Steam Dryer Loads at EPU Conditions." CDI requested that these documents be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(a)(4). Redacted versions of the documents suitable for public disclosure were also provided, but the proprietary versions were not marked to indicate the specific information sought to be withheld.

LR-N07-0026 LCR H05-01, Rev. 1 FEB 1 4 2007 Page 2 The proprietary CDI documents have been marked in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(b)(1)(i)(B) and are provided in Attachments 1, 2 and 3 to this letter. PSEG has determined that the information contained in this letter and attachments does not alter the conclusions reached in the 10CFR50.92 no significant hazards analysis previously submitted.

Attachments 1, 2 and 3 contain information that CDI considers to be proprietary. CDI hereby requests that the proprietary information be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.390. The CDI documents in Attachments 1, 2 and 3 are the same as the documents submitted in References 1 and 2, with the required proprietary markings applied. The affidavits supplied in the Reference I and Reference 2 remain applicable and support this request.
