50-530/93-16 On March 16, 1993, members of NRC Region V management and staff met with you and members of your staff for an enforcement conference at the Region V office in Walnut Creek, California.

The topics discussed are described in the enclosed report. A copy of the handout and slides presented by your staff at the meeting is also enclosed During this enforcement conference, we discussed the findings of our January 11 - February 12, 1993, radiological controls inspection at your Palo Verde i

Nuclear Generating Station, as reported in NRC Inspection Report 50-528/93-03, 50-529/93-03, and 50-530/93-03.

Specific topics discussed included management

controls, worker performance, and dosimetry monitoring related to an instance

,

of worker radiation exposure on December 21, 1992.
