This forwards the attached memorandum on follow up with the alleger at South Texas Project (STP), who was concerned about documentation.

The alleger seems satist ied that we took action, which resulted in the

,

licensee taking action.

Our inspection of-the original allegation was documented in 50-498/84-07 and 50-499/84-07. :It makes no reference to the allegation, but it was an

,

inspection made in direct response to the allegation.

'What is needed in addition to the inspection report and the attached memorandum to close 4-84-A-527 I recommend that the allegation be closed, since the normal follow up on the.open violation will assure that it is closed..

It should be also noted fo'r the record that, on May 10, 1984,

. Messrs.-P. Check, E. Johnson, and J. Jaudon met with Messrs. G. Oprea,

'

G. Goldberg, et a_1'of HL&P. At this informal meeting, we said that we thought that there were problems with drawing.and document control.

They said that they had identified:similar concerns and would take action.
