fo mployee contacted me at approximately 8:00 p.m. on to inquire if I had heard about the QC inspector at the TP site being struck by an engineer af ter he refused to sign off on a

' Pour Card because of deficiencies concerning the concrete placement.-

I told W that if we, the NRC, could substantiate that the act was an act of thtimi-dation and it interfered with the QC _ inspector's decisjort regarding quality of. safety related. construction, we could take action. (gvoiced the. opinion-that the nurter of firings and assaults on the QC inspectors indicated to Mphat Civil QC inspectors were being intimidated.
