Complete review and comment on inspection report 86-09 and 86-08 is limited l
to time restraints and lack of reference material mentioned in the report.

Licensee Action on Previous Inspection findings Comment: The report contains this statement:
"These cap screws are unique and there is no possibility that they could be used on safety related equipment other than the steam generators."
Is this a true statement? At least 384 bolts were available for use wherever a
'
standard 1 1/2" carbon steel bolt could be used. ASME Code requires j
traceability.

Shouldn't the statement about Safety Related equipment be clarified?

It appears that all safety related equipment is inspected by QCP-822 l
- when only mechanical equipment directly responsible to Phillips j
Getschow are inspected to this procedure.
