This routine, unannounced inspection was conducted in the areas of Security Plan and Implementing Procedures; Security Organization; Records and Reports; Testing and Maintenance; Locks and Keys; Physical Barriers - Protected Area; Lighting; Assessment Aids; Access Control - Personnel; Alarm Stations and Communications.
Results:
In the areas inspected, one non-citable violation was identified.
The circumstances of the incident reported in the Licensee's Event Report, dated April 11,1990, LER Number 90-015-00 and the corrective actions taken were reviewed.
This event was determined to be a Severity Level V non-citable licensee identified violation. Open items were reviewed with the licensee and none were ready for closing.
Inspection results indicated that the Security Program appears to be effective in most aspects.
However, in the areas of assessment by Closed Circuit Television and Alarm annunications in the Alarm Stations continue to effect the efficiency of the alarm stations.
