INSPECTION REPORT 50-397/95-99 Thank you For your letter of November 27, 1995, in response to our letter of September 27, 1995, transmitting the results of the NRC's Systematic Assessment of Licensee Performance for your WNP-2 facility and our meeting with you on October 24, 1995.
We have reviewed your letter and find it responsive to the concerns raised in our letter regarding performance in the Operations and Engineering areas.
We acknowledge your comments on the weaknesses identified in the radiation protection program that offset the otherwise good performance in the Plant Support area.
I Your letter further emphasizes the ongoing efforts of the Supply System to improve the performance of WNP-2 using the Performance Enhancement Strategy (PES).
We will continue to monitor the implementation of your PES periodically through the efforts of the WNP-2 Oversight Panel.
