PREDECISIONAL ENFORCEMENT CONFERENCE SUMMARY (NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-382/96-20 AND NOTICE OF VIOLATION)
On November 20,1996, representatives 9 O,:-rgy Operatir.ns, Inc., Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3, met with NRC personnel in the Region IV office located in Arlington, Texas, to discuss the apparent violations identified in NRC Inspection Report 50-382/96-20. The conference was held at the request of Region IV.
During the conference, the licensee presented a discussion regarding the apparent vioiations, including the sequence of events, root causes, corrective actions, safety significance, and action plans.
The attendance list, the licensee's presentation, and the NRC handout are enclosures to this summary, in accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Prac ice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
