Your letter dated June 18, 1985, transmitted the above referenced

Inspection Report which contained a Notice of Violation citing i
one (1) item of noncompliance concerning past duo mair.tenance activitics.
The following response is provided in accordance with the Notico of Violation.
As of April 18, 1985, the Inspector identified numerous safety-related "Q" preventive maintenance activities that had not been
'.
performed in accordanco with the schedule for systems and equipment turned over from Dochtel Construction to PSELG startup/
operations and maintenance was past due for those activition.
Corrective Stopn Taken and Ronultn Achieved On April 18, 1985, a mocting was held to clarify responsibilition for the PSE&G-Dochtel preventive maintenance interfaco.- Results of the meeting includo assignment of~ counterparts, weekly
exchange of information, and a wookly report to station management.

Also, two (2) station personnel have boon dedicated to the timely review of Maintenanco Action Cards upon roccipt from Dochtol.
To date, all overdue maintenanco activities have boon performed.

7/17/85 Corrective Steps Taken to Preclude Recurrence Station Procedure MD-AP-ZZ-010 (O), entitled " Preventive Maintenance" has been revised to provide for Maintenance Action Card review for applicability and clarity.
This procedure has been reviewed by Quality Assurance and will require SORC review prior to issuance.
The Date of Full Compliance Procedure MD-AP-ZZ-010 (O), Revision 1, will be issued by August 9, 1985.
