An operations department instruction was issued to cover the topics of activity that does exist in the secondary coolants, cautions on draining and venting, and cautions on overflow of tanks. STAS were sent back to management training on January 23-25, 1985. The inspector reviewed the STA Training Program Instruction plan -(lesson plan 10) and considers the action taken adequate. The inspector toured the plant neriodically during the inspection to verify that monitoring equipment was recording as required, equipment was properly tagged, operations personnel were aware of plant conditions and plant housekeeping efforts were adequat The inspector also determined that appropriate radiation controls were properly established, critical clean areas were being controlled in accordance with procedures, excess equipment or material was stored properly and combustible material and debris were disposed of expeditiously. During the tour, the inspector looked for the existence of fluid leaks, various valves and breaker positions, equipment caution and danger tags, component positions and status, adequacy of fire fighting equipment, appropriate notations an radiation postings, and instrument calibration date Within the areas inspected, no violations or deviations were identified.
