f.

Preliminary test results show that overall test acceptance criteria had been met.

The performance of each test was evaluated against the requirements

of Regulatory Guide 1.68 - November, 1973 and FSAR Chapter 13,

" Initial Tests and Operation."

The following documents were reviewed:

.

TP - 71 - 800 -26 (Rev. 2), Loss of Offsite Power Test TP - 71 - 800 - 27 (Rev. 0), Shutdown From Outside Control Room Test EP - 113 (Rev. 3), Plant Shutdown From Outside Control Center l

TP - 71 - 800 - 14 (Rav. 2), Reactor / Turbine Trip Test

!

The following tests were witnessed:

Shutdown From Outside Control Room Test The purpose of this test was to demonstrate the ability to place and maintain the plant in a " Hot Standby" condition from outside the control room. When the test was conducted on April 16, 1977, the acceptance criteria of the procedure was not met, therefore a rerun of the test was scheduled.

i The major cause of the test not being able to meet the acceptance

,

criteria was the lack of adequate control over feedwater to the steam generators. The results of the test rerun will be examined during a subsequent inspection.

'

Turbine Trip Test From 100% Power The purpose of this test was to measure and evaluate the transient response of the plant during and following a turbine trip from 100%

rated power. The test was conducted on April 18, 1977, and the preliminary test results show that the overall test acceptance i

criteria had been met.

Within the areas inspected no discrepancies were identified.
