Areas Discussed The licensee commented on the sequence of events and corrective actions taken or planned as discussed in their response dated August 17, 1979, to the Region I telephone conversation and Immediate Action Letter on August 10, 1979.
The Region expressed concern over the number of violations of Limiting Conditions of operation which have occurred during the recent past at Pilgrim Station.
The licensee described the effects of certain correcLive actions including licensed operator responsibility changes with respect to oversight of maintenance activities, provision of administrative assistance for the senior licensed operator, and implementation of a training program for maintenance personnel.
