On October 15, 1987, representatives from the Omaha Public Power District met with NRC Region IV personnel in Arlington, Texas, to discuss the circumstances j surrounding two apparent violations identified in NRC Inspection Report 50-285/87-21 and an additional apparent violation of 10 CFR Part 50.73 and the licensee's position regarding these apparent violations. The NRC's concern i

regarding the lack of adequate management attention to regulatory requirements was also discussed. The meeting was held at the request of the NRC. The i attendance list for this conference is attached u Appendix A to this summar The licensee representative responded to the circumstances surrounding the violations and their corrective action or the'ir planned corrective actior,. No information was presented that would allow deletion or modification of-the violations. The NRC staff explained the enforcement policy and stated that a l decision would be made as to the appropriate enforcement action and that the licensee would then be notifie Ronald E.
