This routine, announced inspection was conducted in the area of Physical Security Program for Power Reactors. Specific areas evaluated during this inspection were:

Management Support; Security Program Plan; Audits; Protected and Vital Area Barriers; Detection Aids; Assessment Aids; Protected and Vital Areas Access Control Packages and Personnel; Alarm Stations and Communications Testing, Maintenance and Compensatory Measures; and Security Training and Qualification.

Results:

In the areas inspected, violation" were not identified.

One unresolved item (92-29-91) remains open due to licensee's actions which had not resolved the technical issue.

One Inspector Follow-up Item (93-06-01) is opened due to an assessment capability issue (Paragraph 2.f).

Otherwise, the security pc: gram continues to protect the vital resources of this plant.

Noteworthy was security management's positive attitude and effective and professional performance of security training and personnel regarding the performance of their duties.
