Exit Interview A management interview was conducted at the conclusion of the inspec tion on August 10, 1978, with Mr. C. W. Crawford and other licensee staff members (denoted in paragraph 1).

All subjects presented in these details were discussed. The licensee acknowledged the inspec tion finding RII Report No. 50-261/78-19 1-2 Licensed Operator Requalification Training The inspector reviewed documents and training records to verify that a requalification training program for NRC licensed reactor operator (ROs) and senior reactor operators (SROs) had been estab lished and was consistent with the requirements of the licensee's Approved Operator Requalification Training Program, Section of the Technical Specifications, and Appendix A to 10 CFR 55. The inspector reviewed training records for ten licensed operator Within the areas inspected, no items of noncompliance or deviations were identifie.

Retraining and Replacement Training for Non-licensed Personnel The inspector reviewed training related documentation and procedures to verify that the training had been provided as described in Section 10 of the Administrative Instructions. "Personnel Training and Retraining,"

and the following Training Instructions:

TI-100 - Retraining and Replacement Training for non-licensed Operating Personnel TI-101 - On-the-job Training for Instrumentation and Control Technicians TI-102 - On-the-job Training for Nechanics TI-103 - On-the-job Training for Radiation Control and Test Technicians TI-104 - Qualification Program for Auxiliary Operations TI-300 -

General Employee Training The program was evaluated for conformance to the requirements of Section 6.4 of the Technical Specification and ANSI N18.1-197 Interviews with femal employees confirmed that information had been provided with regard to prenatal radiation exposure. Within the areas inspected, no discrepancies were identifie.

Plant Tour The inspector toured various areas of the plant to witness plant operations and to interview ten non-licensed employees to verify that the training described in the above Training Instructions had been received. Within the areas inspected, no discrepancies were identified.
