' Scope:-.This inspection report documents the results of an Enforcement i

i Conference held at. the Region II office on February 23, 1987, to review the circumstances of ' events ' identified by Region.II inspectors relating to security officers being found asleep on post, and failure to maintain control

of escorted visitors. -The report further addresses the findings of a followup

,

inspection conducted on March 3-4, 1987, tof review and ascertain the

,

'

effectiveness of corrective actions for previous occurrence of similar events that were acknowledged and discussed by the licensee during the Enforcement Conference but were.not reported to the NRC at the time of occurrence.

i Results:

The following violations'of regulatory requirements were identified:

'

(1)' failure to maintain positive access control to vital areas; and (2)

.

failure to provide positive control of escorted visitors.
