Description

10 CFR 50, Appendix B, Criterion V, lnstructions, Procedures, and Drawings,\' requires that activities affecting quality shall be prescribed by documented instructions, procedures, or drawings, of a type appropriate to the circumstances and shall be accomplished in accordance with these instructions, procedures, or drawings. Contrary to the above, on September 12, 2011, a non-intrusive inspection on the 22 EDG was not accomplished in accordance with the maintenance procedure. Specifically, maintenance personnel rotated the 22EDG governor linkage to set the fuel racks to the zero position instead of inspecting the fuel racks individually, This resulted in the 22EDG being declared inoperable for 18 hours2.083333e-4 days <br />0.005 hours <br />2.97619e-5 weeks <br />6.849e-6 months <br /> and an unplanned yellow risk condition.
