//T7S-Name: Loren Kramer Address: 32 Spruce St.Greenfield, MA, 01301 Email: lorenkramer@comcast.net General Comment It is clear from Fukushima and Chernobyl and Three Mile Island, to mention only 3 serious nuclear power plant accidents, that disaster can happen at any time anywhere there are reactors.

Natural causes, human error, or through an attack huge radiation emissions can cause the sickness and death of hundreds or thousands of citizens.Clearly great danger still awaits such a disaster from the high risk nuclear waste pool at Vermont Yankee. It would be so irresponsible for either Entergy to discontinue even the very limited emergency programs it has maintained during its operation; it would be equally irresponsible for NRC, supposedly responsible for safety regarding nuclear power plants, to allow any less emergency programs than have been in place until ALL the nuclear rods are in hard casks.Do your job and provide safety for Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.
