Presently, theplantisshutdowninthefinalstagesofthe1979refueling outage.Preliminary workontheCVCSwasperformed duringthisrefueling outage'toenableinstallation ofthepulsation dampening devicesduringfullpoweroperation laterthisyear.Duringpoweroperation, onlyonechargingpumpatatimewillberemovedfromservic'etoinstallthepulsation dampening deviceonthatpump.Thisallowsinstallationduringpoweroperation whilestillfulfilling Technical Specification requirements fortheCVCS.Deliveryofthepulsation dampening devicesispresently scheduled forSeptember, 1979.Thedeviceswillbeinstalled shortlyafterdelivery.
