Dear Sir:

This letter is an update to our interim report, Ref. 1, on the subject deficiency that was forwarded in accordance with 10CTR Part 50.55Ce) requirements.

The Interim report on discrepancies In PGCC wiring at Limerick Unit #2 stated that after the Inspection of all GE PGCC panels was empleted, a final review of the issued FDDR's would be performed to determine the overall safety irrolication. We stated that this analysis would be perionred by 6/01/88.

Per confirmation letter from the Architect / Engineer, dated 5/31/88, PECo was Informed thct the original analysis was ccrrplete and that the wiring ~ discrepancies did not cause an adverse safety irrplication for LGS Unit #2.

- ' *., A As part of the PECO review of the wor'k of our contractors, we reinspected a strnple of the panels. We found 130 additional minor errors out of'10,000 tenninations in the reinspection.

Since the errors only involved labels and did not involve wiring errors, our preliminary review. Indicates no safety significance.- FDCA's are being 1

issued to correct these additional errors. The errors are expected to be corrected by 8/1/88 and the_ formal review of safety significance-i Is scheduled to be coneleted by 8/15/88.

A final report to the NRC wlll-be sent by 9/15/88.
