PILGRIM HYDROGEN CONTROL $YSTEMS j l

Recently, there has been some question whether the WRR staff, in the course of its work in connection with hydrogen,c:,ntrol systems at the Pilgrire plant, had, perhaps Inadvertently, Indicated or suggested j that the analysis provided by Pilgrim or the systems Installed at Pilgrim were satisfactory with respect to 10 CFR 50.4% or that no further work by Pilgrim was needed in connection with these systems, or that work by Pilgrim should be held in abeyance pending further NRC guidance.

We have discussed this matter with all cognizant NRR staff members and conclude that no such suggestion was in any way made by the NRR staff.
