Covernment Accountability Project Letter to Mr. Hans Schierling Dated May 31, 1984

SUBJECT:

TRANSFER OF LEAD RESPONSIBILITY FOR RESOLUTION OF ALLEGATIONS; DIABLO CANYON UNITS 1 and 2; DN 50-275 and 50-323 The Diablo Canyon Allegation Review Panel met on July 2, 1984, and determined that certain allegations contained in the referenced letter are appropriate' for transfer to'NRR for resolution. NRR had verbally accepted responsibility for resolution of these allegations. The purpose of this letter is to document that understanding. These allegations are numbered in the Diablo Canyon Allegation Management System from 1120 thru 1129, inclusive.

NRR is requested to assume lead responsibility for the resolution of these allegations including a determination of whether or not any of these allegations require resolution prior to full power operations at Diablo Canyon.

NRR is requested to provide itten documentation of closecut of these allegations to Region V at s. time as determined appropriate.
